Fine Art or Art is a discipline that can lead to a significant and fulfilling career. Whether your passion lies in the fine arts or in practical/applied design, to make a living as an artists you must be talented. It is crucial for artists to possess a unique voice and the capacity to communicate their ideas through their desired mediums. Meipiao’s Art Scholarship is dedicated to sponsoring Asian American artists who demonstrate great talent and potential, and also show the enthusiasm and determination to grow. Up to $1,000 will be awarded.
Student athletes devote their energy to both sports and academics, yet careers in sports and fitness are often minimized. It is important to acknowledge the many opportunities that exist for athletes. On the journey to becoming an acclaimed athlete, you are competing with some of the best in the world. It requires arduous work, practice, and training both on and off season to become recognized. The Dr. Lawrence Lee Memorial Scholarship is designed to sponsor Asian Americans who display great potential in athletics. Up to $1,000 will be awarded.
Science is perceived as a study that enables humans to better understand the world in which they inhabit. As a discipline, science covers a broad spectrum of topics including biology, chemistry, and physics. As the world continues to advance, the need for innovation becomes greater, particularly in health, technology, sustainability, and engineering. The Dr. Xiaowei Chen Memorial Scholarship recognizes an individual who demonstrates skill, commitment, and strong understanding in the science field of their interest. Up to $1,000 will be awarded.
